League One preview
Leeds United look worthy favourites to win League One but are very short in the betting at 3/1. Leicester City follow in the footsteps of Leeds, Man City, Sheffield Wednesday and more recently Notts Forest, of being a ‘big’ club in the unfamiliar territory that is League One. None of the aforementioned sides won the league in their first season and only Man City (just) escaped the division in their first season after being relegated. It would be wise therefore for us to avoid Leicester City at 5/1 – they should get back up after a year of consolidation.
Leading the chasing pack are Peterborough United at 11/1 and they are our each way pick in this league. Darren Ferguson could well prove to be a chip off the old block - his managerial career certainly started well last season. Peterborough should continue their climb up the leagues, backed by the millions of Darragh MacAnthony.
Down at the foot of the table, Hereford United should really struggle, they gained promotion last season due to the wheeling and dealing of the astute Graham Turner but this should be a step too far for the boys from the ramshackle Edgar Street. We expect them to be relegated but they don’t appeal at only 2/1. Instead, we’re going for the value pick of the evil MK Dons at 20/1. It maybe wishful thinking on the part of Big Tips but we feel the appointment of the untried Di Matteo is a risk and that it could all go wrong for the dongs.

Peterborough United to win League One – 1pt each way at 11/1 with Coral
MK Dons to be relegated – 1pt at 20/1 with Totesport
