Rugby League Weekend Review Fri 4th April
Another weekend gone and five valuable lessons that we have learnt:
1. Wigan really do look like the real deal.
2. This is the most open season we have had so far everybody is capable of beating anyone just ask Huddersfield.
3. Even the most consistent players make mistakes - step forward Kevin Sinfield.
4. Wakefield are a totally different team at home and are struggling on the road.
5. Warrington keep going about their business quietly and efficiently.

The live Friday night game gives the Giants the perfect opportunity to bury the ghost from the inept performance against the Salford Reds.
Coach Nathan Brown has come out and blasted the Giants players, with a scathing attack stating his side were simply not up for the battle and got exactly what they deserved - nothing!!!
Castleford on the other hand need to pick themselves up off the floor following 2 defeats over the holiday weekend. Coach Terry Matterson will take some heart from the performance his injury hit team put up against St.Helens, who had the benefit of fielding 13 international players.
Both teams will leave announcing their respective line-ups until as late as possible but it is worth noting, over the last couple of years teams really struggle the weekend after playing 2 games in such a short space of time.
During the match both coaches will earn their money by making the correct call as to when to use their substitutions - they must be played at the right time to give each team the best chance of winning this match.
Anybody wanting to place a bet may want to support the Giants. There are some solid reasons for this - firstly they will have had a real dressing down from coach Nathan Brown, secondly, the Giants are strong at home and thirdly, earlier in the month they gave the current champions Leeds Rhinos a good beating while finally Danny Brough will prove to be an inspired signing and will pull the strings from half back.
On the other hand the Tigers are struggling with injuries and this game could come round a bit too quick for them. I will be looking to place an above average stake on the Giants to cover the handicap: -16 @ 10/11 with Ladbrokes .
Harlequins V St.Helens
The Saturday night game lets armchair viewers get a look at the Quins, don't be getting too excited though some critics say that this current Quins team is the worst in Super League history.
Personally I feel this is a bit harsh considering the injuries they have concurred this year. Saints will use this game to get back on track following defeat to the Warriors last time out.
Saints will take positives from their performance against the Warriors as they had plenty of ball in the red zone but the final elusive pass was missing, this should not be a problem against a poor Quins defense.
Keiron Cunningham and Leon Pryce should be given plenty of space up the middle and can create try opportunities for the men out wide. After 20 minutes Saints will introduce James Roby to target the slow Quins forwards and give Saints plenty of go forward from the hooker position.
You may be able to tell from the above paragraph that I like the chances of Saints. You would be correct.
I will be looking to back Saints on the handicap as they passed a very stern test when beating Huddersfield away from home earlier this month and if they turn up anywhere near as good as that they will win this in a canter: -18 @ evens with Betfred
For a cheeky punt play a double as well Huddersfield & Saints both to win covering their respective handicaps.
