October 08 Results
October was another profitable month for bigtips.co.uk; our sports advice returned a profit of 5.3 points and our horse racing tips were 4.6 pts ahead.
Our Sports tips have returned a profit in 9 out of the 11 months that our free service has been running. Lincoln City were the toast of big tips during October as they won on three separate occasions at advised prices of 11/5, 15/8 and 9/4. We also had success North of the Border as Cowdenbeath and Dundee United both did the business. Things could have been so much better in October but for Grimsby Town letting us down on 3 occasions – twice by goals in injury time! Sports betting profit is now exactly 10% on total stakes, which certainly beats investing in the stock market!

October wasn’t a great month for our antepost selections as the Newcastle revival began under Joe Kinnear and Portsmouth were hit by the loss of Harry Redknapp. There’s still a long way to go though and we’ve still got some great early positions.
